1. Applications are invited from the MALE candidates belonging to BIHAR and JHARKHAND States for the post of Constable(GD) in BSF on temporary basis likely to be permanent in the pay scale of Rs.3050-75-3950-80-4590 plus usual and admissible allowances to Central Govt Employees from time to time. In addition, ration allowances, medical assistance, free uniform, free accommodation, free leave pass etc, are admissible to BSF. The post has All India liability and selected candidate can be posted any where in India and even abroad. They will be governed under BSF Act & Rules as well as CCS Rules.
2. The selected candidates on appointment shall be entitled the pension benefits as per the 'NEW RESTRUCTURED DEFINED CONTRIBUTORY PENSION SCHEME' applicable for the new entrants to the Central Government Service with effect from 1st Jan, 2004.

* Age - Between 18 to 23 years as on last date of submission of application. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
